  • Tech Support Resolved First post forgive my errors.I'm running OBS 24.0.6 on Mac OSX (10.13.4) and I'm using streamlabs browser sources to populate my alerts. The text, images, and TTS (text to speech) work just fine. The alert sounds themselves however, do not play.I'm not using custom sounds or images, just the default stuff.
  • I am recording video conference calls for a sports show, and can get video and all else set up, but cannot capture guests audio. I tried iShowU, Wav.Tap, SoundFlower, nothing works. The audio settings don't even show any default options, and now just read Disabled for my output source.

  • I use OBS streamlabs on a Macbook pro 2017. I am trying to do live stream interviews with OBS and bringing in the other person through ZOOM video conferencing. I set up the source for ZOOM and bring the video in. I use iShowU audio capture to get the audio from Zoom into OBS. I cannot figure out for the live of me how to sync up the audio.

Streamlabs OBS for MacOS is here! In this video we’ll walk through setting up Streamlabs step by step. We’ll install Streamlabs OBS, set up desktop audio with iShowU Audio Capture so you can capture desktop audio, configure our webcam and game capture with a Cam Link, set up our alerts, configure the best possible streaming settings for Streamlabs, adjust our streaming layout, and go live.

Update: I contacted Elgato, they responded with questions, I answered those questions, they never responded back. So here's what I did. I started using Game Capture instead, the software was not detecting my microphone.
Today, this morning, I went ahead and purchased a Avermedia 2 Plus. I plugged it in, opened Streamlabs OBS, put source as video capture device for avermedia (yes it detected it even on the box it says windows only but that's not true). I put source for audio input source using IshowU Audio capture, it detected the Avermedia 2 Plus. Guess what? No issues at all. No audio drops, nothing. It worked seamlessly. Moral of the story: DO NOT PURCHASE AN ELGATO FOR MAC. I've owned two Elgato products one had video lag, this one: the same audio issues that no one can solve. Avermedia: no issues and I'm sure it would be the same for other capture devices.
